"Fatmir massacred my son"/ The murder of Erjon Pelivan in Greece, the mother of the 33-year-old speaks out: The boy had no relationship with the girl, she fabricated all the messages and...

A year has passed since the murder of Erion Pelivan in Greece by his brother-in-law, Fatmir Tarellari, after there were suspicions that he had sexually abused his daughter since the age of 9.
But recent investigations have revealed that everything in this incident was fabricated by the 19-year-old girl, who finally admitted to authorities that she falsified the messages implicating the victim.
In a telephone interview for the show "With an Open Heart" on News24 with author Evis Ahmeti, the 33-year-old's mother revealed some new details.
In a painful and shocking confession, the mother said that the family is experiencing a double tragedy: the loss of her son and the discovery of the belated truth, which, according to her, proves the son innocent.
“We are not feeling well in this situation, because we are parents,” she said, “but we are calm because justice is finally being served. My son had nothing to do with the girl. All the messages she presented turned out to be fabricated. There was no evidence implicating Erjon,” she said.
The victim's mother stressed that everything the 19-year-old had stated was built on lies and that the victim was used for a false story. According to her, the investigation has found no evidence of abuse, not even for the claims that the incident occurred when she was 9 years old.
"All the phones are in the police. There is no evidence. The girl was communicating with other people and, through her own fault, she threw them at my son," she said.
The mother tells with sadness and anger that the murderer, her son's brother-in-law, had called her to an isolated place claiming that his car had broken down, and that Erjoni, although on cold terms with her, had agreed to go for help.
"They told him that Fatmir was at the cement factory and was asking for help. We urged him to go, even though they no longer spoke. He went, but death awaited him there. Fatmir slashed my son in the face."
Deeply moved, she recalls with tears in her eyes that she was not even allowed to see her son's body, and for the first time she only saw a photo of him during the court hearing:
"I saw his picture in court. He had torn it to pieces. I will never forget it," the 33-year-old's mother concluded.
