A citizen has reported a disturbing situation in the Kurbin area, where, according to him, the price of a ticket for van transportation has increased unjustifiably within a few days.

According to the complaint, in the segment from Laçi to the Zheja intersection, a distance of about 3 kilometers, the fare has doubled from 500 lek to 1,000 lek per passenger.

The citizen raises concern that this increase is not accompanied by any reason or official decision.

He compares this to the Laç-Tirana line, which for a distance of about 40 kilometers costs about 3,000 lekë, emphasizing that the price for such a short segment is unjustifiable and burdens citizens.

According to him, the situation has worsened over the past week, with an increase in vehicles operating without a license. He claims that some of the van drivers are putting pressure on citizens, leaving them on the road if they refuse to pay the increased fee.

Another concern raised is the lack of tickets, which according to the citizen is related to the fact that some of the vehicles operate illegally.

The citizen calls on the authorities to intervene to verify the situation and take measures against abuses, protecting citizens from unjustified prices and substandard services.
