Competition for RTSH leadership, the Steering Council illegally disqualifies 8 out of 10 candidates. Mevlan Shanaj votes "secretly"

The Board of Directors of Albanian Radio Television, meeting on Monday at noon, has unprecedentedly disqualified eight candidates from the race for Director General of TVSH.
Among those disqualified are names like Eni Vasili, one of the most well-known journalists in the country, while only two current TVSH officials have qualified, the acting director Aurora Polo and the director of RTSH in Shkodra, Jetmir Shpuza.
Along with Eni Vasili, other candidates such as Laureta Roshi, Kliton Rama, Enrik Mehmeti and Harrilla Koçi were also disqualified.
At the meeting, in violation of the law on audiovisual media and the statute of Albanian Radio Television, the members of the Council conducted a vote without discussing the criteria that each candidate meets or does not meet!
According to lawyers, this undermines the process, as a candidate with limited knowledge is voted for, without verifying his CV.
On the other hand, the vote is considered illegal and therefore invalid because the Chairman of the Council and the members themselves allowed the member of the Steering Council, Mevlan Shanaj, who is in Vietnam, to vote, at a time when the vote was secret.
The online vote of this Council member also revealed how he voted from Vietnam. The Democratic chairwoman of the Media Commission, Ina Zhupa, has also reacted to the vote, calling the disqualification of eight out of 10 members in the race madness.
"The madness of the RTSH Steering Council disqualifies candidates who meet the criteria from the competition!"
The Board of Directors invents rules that do not exist, disqualifies 8 candidates who meet every legal criterion by violating the law. There is no voting in the law to enter or not to vote!!! Simply a competition and a vote to choose the director among those who meet the legal criteria! Where did they find in the law the method of disqualification when meeting the legal criteria? Disqualification is when you do not meet the criteria, otherwise you are in the competition.
