Journalist Dervishi: Who is sabotaging the investigation into Vis Martinaj's disappearance?

Journalist Ferdinand Dervishi has accused that the investigations related to the disappearance of Ervis Martinaj were sabotaged from the beginning, with the incident being assigned to be investigated by the Laçi Prosecutor's Office, and not by SPAK.

Invited to News24, the journalist accuses that beyond the police and the prosecution, the direction of events is determined by politics and oligarchs, preventing the full disclosure of the event and the possible implications related to organized crime structures.

He says that on the day of the incident, Martinaj was not alone, but with three cars accompanied by armed men, while the opponents seem to have prepared different scenarios. According to him, some of the people involved were dressed as police officers, but were not, which indicates the good preparation of the attackers and the planning of the event.

"It was sabotaged from the beginning, there are some strange delays. It was not left to SPAK but to the Laçi prosecutor's office."

Why were the investigations delayed? Why was it left to the Laçi prosecution? Because it concerns an element of organized crime and a victim of organized crime. It's like in the case of Jani Prengës who was initially arrested. Why is one being investigated by SPAK and the other not. Why Laçi when the incident took place in Durrës? These are major problems that implicate the investigation process. They implicate the justice system, which is not the one that will do this job. Who is above the police and justice? Politics and the oligarchs. For me, these delay and sabotage this event. If the event were to be revealed, the implication of politics, the pyramid of organized crime in Albania and the oligarchs who came together to eliminate Martinaj would be revealed.

The people who accompanied Martinaj, after he entered the villa, saw many people dressed as police officers who were not like that. This was his fate that was prepared.
