The Supreme Court rejects Redian Rraja's appeal

The Supreme Court has rejected Redian Rraja's appeal.

Redjan Rraja has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the assassination attempt on the Shkozet overpass, where former Durrës prosecutor Arjan Ndoja, his friend Aleksandër Laho alias Pellumb Muharremi, known as Rrumi, were injured and driver Andi Maloku lost his life.

In November 2019, Arjan Ndoja was assassinated at the Shkozet overpass in Durrës. The prosecutor was in a vehicle with a person with a criminal record, known as the "strongman of Sukthi", Landi Muharremi from Sukthi, and Andi Maloku, a former police officer at the Kruja police station, who was the prosecutor's driver at the time.

The 'Benz' car with the license plate AA 333 ZD and used by Prosecutor Ndoja was attacked near the Shkozet overpass when they were shot at with automatic fire from another vehicle, leaving all three injured.

After the barrage of bullets, the car went off the road, while the wounded were transported by private car.
