Rraja criminal group busted, former socialist MP's son and 9 others remain in prison

The Criminal Court of Kosovo has remanded in prison the 10 arrested members of the Rraja criminal group.
Their arrest in flagrante delicto for suspected criminal offenses related to narcotics trafficking and other criminal acts for Islam Sefa (alias Xaka), Rexhep Rraja, Agim Nina (alias Lorenc Selmani), Përparim Rraja, Gazmir Rraja, Zamir Aliaj (alias Çoku), Aldo Gjini (alias Iamandri), Sokol Qaja, Jani Çavo and Marvin Bushati, was deemed legal.
The decision was made by the panel headed by Judge Etleva Deda, following the request of the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, which has been following the investigations for several months and has provided evidence of the involvement of the arrested in organized criminal activity.
The following are in 'prison arrest': Islam Sefa, Rexhep Rraja, Agim Nina, Përparim Rraja, Gazmir Rraja, Zamir Aliaj, Aldo Gjini, Sokol Qaja and Jani Çavo.
The GJKKO has also deemed the arrest of Marvin Bushati lawful and has imposed a personal security measure against him: "Arrest in prison".
