Sentenced in England to 12 years in prison for cocaine trafficking, SPAK
The Special Prosecution Against Crime and Corruption (SPAK) has confiscated the assets of Lulzim Zefi, the Albanian who was sentenced to 12 years in prison in England for drug trafficking. According to the announcement of the Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime, it is known that 17 assets of Zefi and the persons connected to him have been seized.

The Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime with decision no. 131 dated 20.09.2023, has decided to uphold decision no. 19 dated 13.02.2023 of the Special Court of First Instance against Corruption and Organized Crime Organized, related to the confiscation of the assets of citizens Lulzim Zefi, subject to Normative Act No. 1, dated 31.01.2020 "On preventive measures in the framework of strengthening the fight against terrorism, organized crime, serious crimes and the consolidation of the security order public", as follows:

Members of an Albanian criminal gang who trafficked narcotics in Britain were sentenced to a total of 43 years in prison. Members of the gang were arrested on 27 April 2017 while delivering 9kg of cocaine to a car park in the Brentford area. The leader of the group was the Albanian Lulëzim Zefi, who used professional couriers to transport the drugs. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
