On April 23, 2025, Mentor Krrashi from Sukthi, Durrës, was notified of a fine imposed on his vehicle on the Kuç-Vlora axis, recorded by the Vlora Traffic Police radars.
Krrashi states that at that time, he was in Italy and that his car was parked in the yard of his apartment in Sukth, with the battery dead and not being used by anyone.
His parents also testify that the vehicle has not been moved. After requesting verification from the Vlora Police Station, Mentor traveled to Vlora himself and found that the radar image showed a vehicle with a different model and similar license plate, where the last letter had been misread due to a shadow on the license plate, confusing the "H" with the "N".
"A part of the shadow has fallen in the middle of the license plate, because we have now opened it and I am showing the boy, that last letter H has been confused with N. I will now get the traffic chief, so that we can set up a help desk, change the license plate, of course, so that the owner will come out and the administrative measure will be removed from this citizen who has presented himself", said the Vlora OASH.
