A collaboration between MC Kresha and Don Xhon has long been a desire of Albanian hip-hop fans. Recently, Kresha has spoken openly about her relationship with the rapper and the reason why a duet between them has not yet been realized, explaining that there is no obstacle or animosity between them.
During an interview on Meriton Mjekiqi's show, the rapper shared details about his relationships with colleagues and his career, while the topic of Don John, one of the most commented names on the current scene, received the most attention.
When asked about the lack of collaboration, MC Kresha emphasized that it all comes down to timing and not calculated plans. According to him, music and collaborations happen naturally, when the right energy is created between artists.
He also recalled an episode when Don John visited him in the studio, coming with an open offer of collaboration. "When he came to us, he said: 'take the contract, write whatever you want' ," Kresha said, describing this as a sign of respect and willingness to work together.
The rapper added that their relationship is based on mutual appreciation and support, also mentioning the encouraging messages he sent to Don John at an important moment in his career.
