Assassination in Lezha, Dervishi: The police are out of the game, situation like in 1997

Journalist Ferdinand Dervishi, invited to the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, speaking about the serious incident in Lezha, where members of the family of former MP Arben Ndoka clashed with Ardjan Nikulaj's nephew and a police officer in a barbershop, and where its owner was also injured, stated that the police are out of the game and fail to guarantee the safety of citizens.

"The Lezha incident reminds you of how Mexico functioned during the time of El Chapo or Colombia, where drug gangs settle scores. It is not a well-thought-out murder, it seems to be a banal quarrel. The situation may have gotten out of hand. What is serious is how elements who have problems with the law move with the police out of the game, covering up events, turning a blind eye.

I believe that out of a quarrel they may have gone to put the Kalash on the head and humiliate them for not deciding for themselves.

"I believe the situation has gotten out of hand. The way they move around with armed people in two cars, it's like in 1997," Dervishi said.
