A serious incident occurred yesterday in Lezha.
According to the police, a 72-year-old man is suspected of having consumed photoxine in his apartment while in a state of depression. It is reported that the elderly man was transported to the QSUT and is out of danger for his life.
"On 13.07.2025, citizen HV, 72 years old, resident of Lezha, was sent for treatment to the Lezha Regional Hospital, who is suspected of having consumed phosphoxin, under conditions of depression, in his apartment. He was transported to the QSUT and is out of danger to his life," the police announced.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Lezha, for further action.
