Former Tirana Road Chief Released from Cell, Roven Zeka Moved to House Arrest
The former head of the Tirana Traffic Police, Roven Zeka, has been released from prison by decision of the Special Court, which has decided that he will continue his security measure under house arrest.

Zeka was arrested on April 19, 2025, by order of SPAK, along with two other former State Police officials, Edison Tabaku and Sokol Novaku, as part of a corruption investigation.

According to investigations by the Special Prosecution Office, the three officials are suspected of having received money from a woman involved in a road accident, so that the case would not be referred to the prosecutor's office and a criminal investigation would not be initiated.

Previously, the Appeal Court of Kosovo had upheld the prison sentence for Zeka and Tabaku, while for the head of accident investigations, Sokol Novaku, the sentence was commuted to house arrest due to family circumstances.
