The Arab media have devoted an article to the agreement of the Albanian government with the Alabbar company in Dubai for the construction of the New Port in Durrës.
“Mohamed Alabbari has been given the green light to build the largest ever fleet of super yachts in the Mediterranean. The $2.5 billion deal, backed by his Eagle Hills Group of Companies, will see a complete transformation of part of the Albanian coastline in the city of Durrës," Arab media wrote.
Yachts and superyachts up to 120 m in size will be moored in the new port.
Known as Durres Yachts and Marina, the new port will be designed as one of the most sustainable new cities, incorporating environmentally friendly practices, green spaces and smart technology to reduce air pollution and carbon dioxide emissions. carbon
According to the project, around the new port there will be hotels, private residences, promenades, shops, super-luxurious restaurants and over 80,000 square meters of parks and open spaces, and 170 commercial shops.
"This is the best and special project we have done, I have no doubt", said Mihamed Alabbar, the owner of the company that signed the agreement for the Port of Durrës.
"It's a game changer, something we've been working hard on behind the scenes for a long time. I really don't think you will find anything like this anywhere", said Alabbar.
