On the eve of the end-of-year holidays! Fireworks warehouse discovered in Tirana, owner arrested

The police operation "Fireworks" is being finalized to prohibit the use of pyrotechnics, in violation of the rules and criteria.
A warehouse is discovered on “Besim Fagu” Street, where a large quantity of fireworks was being kept, with the intention of selling them. The owner of the warehouse is arrested. Hundreds of fireworks of various models, packed in boxes, are seized.
As a result of 40 intensive checks carried out by the structures of the DVP Tirana, in implementation of the plan of measures aimed at checking entities that illegally sell pyrotechnics/fireworks, by the services of the Police Commissariat No. 4, a warehouse was found in a garage, on "Besim Fagu" street, Tirana, where hundreds of packages of fireworks were kept, with the aim of selling them.
As a result of the immediate intervention of the Police services, in this environment, its owner, citizen IK, 24 years old, was caught red-handed and arrested.
During the search of the warehouse, the services of Police Commissariat No. 4 found and seized as material evidence, hundreds of packages containing thousands of fireworks of various models and sizes.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
Tirana Police appeals to all citizens not to use pyrotechnic substances, contrary to the rules and criteria set out in the acts in force, as they will be punished in accordance with the law. Controls will continue without interruption.
