"We refute the disinformation news", Dentist's Order: There are no new elections, the President has been elected and legally recognized

After some news that the president of the Order of Dentists has been elected, the latter has denied these rumors.

In a reaction to the media, the Order of Albanian Dentists clarifies that there was no election. The statement also clarifies that Almiro Gurakuqi was elected President of the USSH through a due legal process and with a mandate of 2025-2030.

"The legal elections for the elected bodies of the USSH, including the President, Vice President of the USSH for the 2025 - 2030 mandate were successfully concluded on 16.4.2025. These elections have not been contested in any judicial body and have been recognized by all public bodies in the Republic of Albania, including the Ministry of Health, which has appointed its representatives to the USSH bodies," explains the Order of Dentists.

In connection with the news published on several portals regarding the election of the “President of the USSH”, we inform dentists, dental assistants and the entire public opinion that the legal elections for the elected bodies of the USSH, including the President, Vice President of the USSH for the 2025 – 2030 mandate were successfully concluded on 16.4.2025. These elections have not been contested in any judicial body and have been recognized by all public bodies in the Republic of Albania, including the Ministry of Health, which has appointed its representatives to the USSH bodies. For this reason, the USSH denies any news that aims to misinform and mislead dentists, dental assistants and the public opinion regarding this issue. The USSH bodies are following up on this issue with the competent legal institutions. Also, the USSH continues its activity in fulfillment of the mission defined by law.
