Dritan Dajti doesn't stop! He again seeks relief from the sentence of life imprisonment

Dritan Dajti, sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of 4 policemen in Durrës, makes another attempt to be released from prison. Through his lawyers, Dajti has filed a criminal claim in the Court of Elbasan where he seeks to establish the invalidity and impossibility of executing the decision of the Court for Serious Crimes of July 2014, for leaving him in prison for life.

According to Dajti, this decision is invalid because the signatures of 4 members of the judging panel are missing. Yes, according to Dajti's claims, the execution order of the prosecutor for the execution of this decision does not exist.

On June 11, 2024, the Supreme Court overturned the sentence of the Appeal for Dajti's 25-year sentence, sentencing him to life.

Meanwhile, earlier Dajti addressed the Court of Elbasan with a request for release from the cell, since, according to him, he has served his sentence of 25 years and since August 17, 2024 he has been in the cell in violation of the law.
