Journalist's vehicle catches fire in Bulqiza: Intentional, they want to scare me!

In the New Town of Bulqiza, at midnight around 02:45 in the morning, the car of journalist Sami Curri was burned.
The arson is suspected to be intentional due to duty. The car was parked near the building where the journalist lived.
Firefighters arrived at the scene, but were unable to put out the fire. Police are conducting an investigation into the incident to clarify its cause.
According to the journalist, this action is being taken to "shut up".
"This is intentional and intended to convey a message to me and the work I do.
First of all, I say that those who committed that act will absolutely not be able to threaten me or intimidate me for the work I do, because for me, journalism is a mission that I carry out and that I will continue at any cost.
This was one of the awards. To be honest, I've been in contact with people who are affected by issues that I deal with in my daily work for weeks.
I have been a journalist for almost 10 years. My work has been focused on the field in the Dibra region, covering issues mainly related to public problems, monitoring local government and justice.
"For me it's absolutely intentional, to convey the message that this was the first and on occasion it can continue. Am I intimidated? Does this threaten me? Absolutely not. For me, journalism is in the public interest," he said.
