Part of cocaine network, 2 Albanian brothers arrested in Italy

Two Albanian brothers were arrested by Cremona Police officers in Italy, on charges of possession with intent to sell narcotics.

The young men, aged 20 and 24, were caught red-handed while using suburban areas and forests as dens where they hid cocaine divided into doses, so that they could immediately deliver it to buyers.

Initially, the youngest was caught while he was inside the wooded area, finding and seizing a glass container, carefully hidden in the bushes, containing doses of cocaine weighing over 60 grams.

During a personal search, officers discovered another 7 grams of cocaine, also divided into doses, which the young man already had in his possession.

Shortly after, his 24-year-old brother was caught in another wooded area after a few minutes of pursuit. During the search, cocaine packets were found in his possession and 2,000 euros in cash, proceeds from drug trafficking, were found in his apartment.

The two Albanian brothers were remanded in custody. The judge ordered that both, represented in court by lawyer Alessandro Vezzoni, report to the judicial police. Since one of them had entered the country illegally, his immediate deportation from Italy was also ordered.
