Ilaria's parents talk about the killer's letter: We cried for 20 days, forgiveness is not accepted

Ilaria's father, Flamur Sula, in an interview with  Italian media  said that he does not accept the apology of the 23-year-old from the Philippines and also recounted the conversation he had with him at the police station.

"I asked him if he had anything to do with the incident and he replied: 'I love Ilarian... I would never hurt him' , on the contrary, he did. There is no excuse and I don't care what he wrote. Justice must be served," the father of the murdered 22-year-old began.

For days, the family hoped that the girl would return home, but the suspicion that something bad had happened immediately took hold of them. They immediately realized that it was not she who was sending those messages and making those Instagram posts.

"If it were her, whatever she did, good or bad, she would have told us. She would actually call us, not send us a text or post on Instagram. He knew all her phone codes."

Afterwards, Ilaria's mother, Gëzime Sula, commented on the behavior of Samson's mother, who helped her hide the traces of blood in the house after taking the life of the Albanian student.

"She's not a mother, a mother like her shouldn't exist. A mother can't help her son hide a corpse, hide our daughter. I don't know what kind of heart she has."

"We didn't expect the letter at this moment ," added Flamur Sula.  "Maybe in 30 or 40 years, but not now. He says he's crying, but we've been crying for our daughter for 20 days. Ilaria didn't deserve this end. She was wonderful and it's not easy to forget her."
