For the sake of order and security, the June 7 Albania-Serbia match will have the highest number of uniforms deployed for a match. It is learned that around 2,000 police forces will be deployed to ensure order, including the RENEA unit, FNSH, Anti-terror and SHISH. The greatest security will be on the Serbian representative, who will be accompanied by numerous police forces and strict security measures from the moment of arrival in Tirana until departure after the match. Anti-terror will have the key role. In their support, there will also be the RENEA special unit that will accompany the Serbian team.
There will be strict measures in terms of road traffic, control of fans at the entrance to the stadium, but also of those who will not be able to enter.
Anti-terror will have a key role in this operation, with direct responsibility for controlling the stadium perimeter, monitoring entry points into Albanian territory. Photos of persons with extremist tendencies have been sent to each border point for a week and will not be allowed to enter Albanian territory.
The Albanian Football Federation, in cooperation with the State Security Services, the Police and other agencies, have implemented advanced security measures at the stadium.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that there will also be airstrikes in case of any unexpected events.
Modern security systems have been installed at the “Arena Kombëtare” stadium, including face recognition cameras and additional mobile cameras, which will monitor every movement in the stands and around the stadium in real time.
The police have prepared a control plan, which includes a thorough verification of tickets and identification documents of every person entering the stadium. It is also learned that to prevent any possible danger, all roads leading to the stadium will be completely blocked, while the surrounding area will be protected with anti-drone equipment, to avoid the possibility of any external interference. It is reported that there will be a high presence of police forces and anti-terror units at the stadium.
Anti-drone rifles will also be used, positioned around the stadium to ward off any aerial threats that could destabilize the situation.
