Transformer explodes in Gjirokastra, residents remain without electricity

An electrical transformer in the village of Kakoz in Gjirokastra has burst into flames, risking the spread of the fire to the surrounding area.
Along the way, firefighters found another fire in the village of Valarë, in a place called "Stallat", where an electrical booth was engulfed in flames.
Both fires were brought under control and completely extinguished without causing major material damage or danger to residents.
As a result of the fire in Kakoz, the residents of this village, which is part of the Lunxheri administrative unit of Gjirokastra, remain without electricity until the defects are repaired.
