The investigations carried out by the police of Shkodra, about the incident of the shooting of Selami Brahim, seem to be directed at a family conflict than at a possible clash between criminal groups in Shkodër.

Although Selami Brahimi is known as a friend and close friend of Sokol Lici in Shkodër, the event is believed to be unrelated due to the social circle, but the investigation track is focused on a family conflict.

The perpetrator of the crime, 68-year-old Sulejman Kapllani, was located and arrested in Berlin.

Kapllani and Brahimi are neighbors with each other and above all, according to Shkodra police sources, they have Krushka connections. This is because Brahimi married the niece of the perpetrator of the crime, Sulejman Kapllani.

The latter has not yet been interrogated to show the reasons and motives that led him to shoot Selami Brahim with more than 10 bullets. According to the police, the incident is suspected to have occurred as a result of conflicts between the Khrushchevs.

Members of the Kapllani family are known in Shkodër as persons with a criminal record. Many years ago, in 1998, Sulejman Kapllani's nephew, Arjan Kapllani, killed Sandër Matia, the leader of the "Bardhanjor" gang and the right-hand man of Gjon Gjekaj.

The conflict started initially for the fiancee of Arjan Kapllani, who was harassed by Sandër Matia. The parties went to clarify, where Sulejman Kapllani was part of this discussion. In the ongoing discussion with Sander Matia, both sides were involved in the use of weapons.

Matia injured Sulejman Kapllani, Arjan Kapllani's uncle. While the latter retaliated, killing Sandër Matia and injuring 6 other people. The murder of Sandër Matias was committed in January 1998.

In the period 1997-1998, Sandër Matia was considered the "terror" and the untouchable of Shkodra.

While in 2013, Sulejman Kapllani's brother, Burhan Kapllani, killed his ex-wife Orjeta Boshi and her lover, Shpëtim Hana, in Italy. The serious incident happened in a shopping center in "L'Aquila" in Italy. / Ora News
