The Sun: Albanians arriving by dinghy are making fun of British money

The British newspaper " The Sun " is once again paying attention to migrants from Albania who are entering Britain by small boats.
This Tuesday, another article was published with negative notes about 2 Albanian immigrants who, after traveling by dinghy, took shelter in one of the hotels after surrendering to the police.
"Migrants are bragging about being accommodated in hotels funded by taxpayers, just like the bills paid by millions of Britons."
Two men posted a TikTok video with Albanian subtitles in a room after paying £3,000 to cross the Channel. Meanwhile, Britons' bills are rising along with tax increases,” writes The Sun.
In an investigation conducted by The Sun, this video was highlighted, where, according to the tabloid, Albanians boast about arriving in Britain.
“A TikTok video shows two happy men in a luxury hotel with a large flat-screen TV. The caption, in Albanian, advertises the itinerary as 100% guaranteed.
Last year the government spent £5.38 billion on housing and supporting asylum seekers. There have been 8,000 more migrants in hotels since Sir Keir became prime minister, with taxpayers footing the huge bill,” The Sun writes.
In the video, a man boasts: "Respect. They brought us to London." Another clip says: "Every day trip on small boats. 100 percent safety.
Payment £3000, when you arrive in the UK. Brothers who want to go, get in touch and we will send you directly”.
Home Office figures show that 616 people travelled from Albania to the UK by small boats in 2024.
Critics point to a record 6,642 migrants arriving on 119 boats so far this year, a 43% increase on the same time last year. More than 4,000 people made the journey last month alone.
Trafficking gangs are known to use social media platforms to contact migrants before switching to private encrypted messaging services.
Last year, the National Crime Agency ordered the removal of more than 8,000 social media accounts. TikTok removed the video after The Sun warned them about it as it breached guidelines on human trafficking and smuggling./ oranews
