Police have confirmed that the death of a 78-year-old man in the village of Bulgarec was not due to natural causes, but a criminal incident. According to authorities, the victim was hit in the head with a hard object, which caused his death.
All family members and relatives of the 78-year-old were accompanied to the police station, where statements were taken about possible conflicts and suspicious situations within the family.
To fully unravel the incident, the police and the prosecution are using special investigative methods. The investigations are focusing on two main tracks: murder during an attempted robbery, although no money or valuables were found missing from the apartment, and murder for other motives.
Police Director Vilson Bala has been at the scene since this morning, accompanied by Deputy Director of Crimes Elton Halili and Chief of Police Faik Ruko, who are conducting an inspection of the scene and collecting any elements that may help identify the perpetrators and shed light on the motive.
