The German embassy reacts to the election of the new head of SPAK: Support for the independence of the highest standards of justice

The German embassy in Tirana also joined in the congratulations on the election of the new head of SPAK.
"Congratulations to the new head of the SPAK Special Prosecution Office, Klodjan Braho, elected today.
The determined fight against corruption and organized crime is of exceptional importance from Germany's perspective for Albania's EU accession process, which we support.
Integrity, independence and respect for the highest standards of the rule of law remain essential to SPAK's important work.
I wish Klodjan Braho and all SPAK employees much success in their ambitious task, as well as fruitful cooperation with Albanian and international institutions.
"My gratitude today also goes to the High Prosecutorial Council for the transparent election process and to all justice institutions in Albania, which contribute every day to the rule of law," the German embassy's announcement reads.
