Will nuclear weapons be used against Iran? Trump: We have completely destroyed them! I would never do it!

US President Donald Trump has spoken to the media from the White House regarding the situation with Iran, also commenting on the possibility of using nuclear weapons against the Middle Eastern country.

"No, I wouldn't," Trump said.

"Why would I need to? Why would such a stupid question be asked? Why would I use a nuclear weapon when we completely destroyed them, in a very convincing way? A nuclear weapon should never be allowed to be used by anyone," Trump said.

However, Trump left the threat of conventional force on the table, saying that US forces remain "armed."

"We've never had so much ammunition - our ships are full," he said.
