Israeli strikes kill two deputy commanders in the general staff of the Iranian armed forces

Two deputy commanders in the general staff of the Iranian armed forces were killed in Israeli strikes, Iranian state media reported on Saturday.
According to Reuters, it was not clear when the two commanders were killed, but their deaths were announced on Saturday.
Israel's attacks on Iran since Friday have killed at least 78 people, including senior military officials, in what are Israel's largest-ever attacks against Iran.
Meanwhile, Iran confirmed that its nuclear facility at Fordow suffered limited damage after the latest attacks, the ISNA news agency reported, citing a spokesman for the country's atomic energy organization.
"There was limited damage in some areas at the Fordow uranium enrichment site. We had already moved a significant portion of the equipment and materials, and there was no major damage and there are no concerns about contamination," said Behrouz Kamalvandi, a spokesman for the state atomic energy agency.
