US President Donald Trump has again attacked his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, through a post on Truth Social, declaring that he will no longer tolerate him.
This reaction comes a few days after their tense meeting at the White House, which ended in a fierce confrontation and with Zelensky's sudden departure.
In his post, Trump commented on a statement by Zelensky, in which the latter stated that "the end of the war with Ukraine is very far away."
Trump has described this statement as the worst possible, warning that Washington will not tolerate it much longer.
"I said it from the beginning, this guy doesn't want peace as long as he has America's support," the American president wrote, leaving harsh criticism of Ukraine's stance on the war.
At the same time, referring to the meeting of EU leaders with Zelensky in London, Trump said that they have acknowledged that without the US they cannot continue their support for Ukraine.
"Maybe not the best statement to show strength against Russia. What are they thinking?" Trump added.
