Ministry of Health denies measles outbreak in Tirana kindergartens: There are no confirmed cases

The Ministry of Health and the Institute of Public Health have issued a clarification for citizens, denying reports by some media outlets about an alleged measles outbreak in a kindergarten in Tirana.

The institute emphasizes that there are no confirmed cases of infection in any preschool institution in the capital. Authorities call for information to be obtained only from official sources, to avoid creating unnecessary panic.

At the same time, the Ministry and the Institute of Public Health remind parents of the importance of respecting the national vaccination calendar and ensure that vaccination remains the safest and most effective measure for protecting the health of children and the community.
