Netanyahu reacts after phone call with Trump, warns of attacks on Beirut if Hezbollah does not stop attacks on Israeli cities

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said this evening that he told US President Donald Trump that his country will attack "terrorist" targets in Beirut if Hezbollah does not stop attacks on Israeli cities.
"The Israel Defense Forces will continue to operate according to plan in southern Lebanon, " he added, referring to the Israeli military.
"Last night, I spoke with President Trump and told him that if Hezbollah does not stop its attacks on our cities and citizens, Israel will strike terrorist targets in Beirut. Our position remains unchanged," he further said.
Earlier, Hezbollah MP Hassan Fadlala told Al Manar television, which belongs to the organization, that Hezbollah would support a complete ceasefire across Lebanon, as a step towards the withdrawal of Israeli forces.
"The organization will monitor the implementation of the ceasefire over the coming days ," he added.
