Pope Francis appeared again today before the faithful in St. Peter's Square at the Vatican, showing another sign that he is recovering from the double pneumonia that threatened his life in February.
Sitting in a wheelchair, the Holy Father greeted about 20,000 faithful gathered for the Palm Sunday Mass, which precedes the Easter holiday.
The Pope was no longer wearing oxygen tubes in his nose, just like in last week's episode, when he had only been out of hospital treatment for a week, where he had been hospitalized for almost a month and a half.
