On the eve of the protest in Belgrade, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić closely observed the works at an EXPO construction site and said he was convinced that "peace and stability will be maintained."
"I am convinced that today we will withstand all the pressure, attacks and maintain peace and stability. And then we will win in the future ," Vučić said in a post on Instagram.
"People have different dreams. Some dream of destroying something or someone, some dream of building. I believe that the majority of Serbian citizens want to build a better and more successful Serbia," Vučić said on Saturday.
