A security camera in Costa Rica has captured the murder of a 53-year-old man by his neighbor after an argument over a shared water meter.
The perpetrator of the crime is Eduardo Ramírez Zamora, who did not hesitate to shoot his neighbor Otoniel Orozco Mendoza nine times from a short distance.
The deadly brawl apparently started with two women fighting over a shared water meter, according to local media. At one point in the shot, Zamora appears, who although initially appears to be trying to push his wife away, then displays a gun which he fires before placing it in his waistband. The tension escalated when Mendoza punched him and Zamora retaliated by pulling out a gun and shooting him 9 times. He continued to shoot even though the victim had fallen to the ground.
According to the neighbors of the two couples, the quarrels between them had started a long time ago. Mendoza, who was shot to death by his neighbor, had moved to Costa Rica from Nicaragua.
