From February, the withholding tax declaration is automatically pre-filled from the previous month's template.

The General Directorate of Taxes informs all taxpayers that improvements are continuing to facilitate the process of electronic declaration of tax returns.
From February 2025 onwards, the new Withholding Tax Declaration is pre-populated with the information from the previous declaration for the columns that have continuous information, and there are several improvements, which enable taxpayers to file a more accurate and easier declaration.
The withholding tax return is completed every month. For the month of February, which is due by March 20, the return will be automatically pre-filled from the form submitted in the previous month.
According to the tax administration, the implemented changes relate to:
The data self-declared by the taxpayer in the previous declaration for the following sections:
“Rent payments to individuals”
“Capital gains from life insurance and/or private pension schemes”
“Payments for intellectual property and copyrights” will be pre-filled in the following month's declaration.
So, if the taxpayer has declared the Withholding Tax Declaration for the period January 2025, the declaration for the period February 2025 will be pre-filled from the most recent model submitted for the period January 2025.
The pre-filled values can be changed or deleted. So, for each pre-filled column, the taxpayer can remove payments declared in the previous month, add new ones, or change them, as all pre-filled records will be in a modifiable form until the declaration is submitted via the Submit button.
The return can be downloaded in Excel format, both in the Save and Submit versions. The Excel document will only display the sections for which there were payments for that tax period.
Data can be deleted in bulk by selecting all of them at once via the Select All functionality and then clicking the Delete button.
