Berisha and Rama as in Dritëroi's verses!

Many of you who read this title will say what connects the two most powerful people in these 34 years of hybrid democracy with the people's poet, the late Dritëro Agolli. In fact, nothing connects them except that we find many of the political class figures embodied in the novel "The Rise and Fall of Comrade Zylo" but also in the numerous verses that Dritëro's brilliant mind and pen have produced.
I don't know in what year he wrote these verses, which seem to have been written today, which best define Rama's symbiosis with Berisha and the political class.
Dritëroi wrote in those verses:
" During the day he swore by the truth! At night he woke up and kissed the lie full of longing !"
Verses that best embody the bargaining between Rama and Berisha at the expense of Albanians and in the interest of maintaining political-economic power. Portraying the hypocrisy that characterizes Albanian politics, who bargain at night and declare themselves sworn enemies in the eyes of Albanians during the day.
"The Power of Rumors" has further amplified this reality where hate speech, lynching, and scenarios in parliament attempt to portray Rama and Berisha as two fierce opponents of each other, to bring about extreme polarization of society when in fact they are only two collaborators and two fellow travelers.
Faced with the powerful call of Albanians, who not only seek justice but want it to be as functional as possible, faced with an institution like SPAK, which they cannot control but the fear of being handcuffed has made them paranoid about what will happen to them, they have dropped their masks.
In no country in the Western world would the opposition unite its votes with the majority as in the case of criminal amnesty, where it demands the release of corrupt SP directors but not the individuals who protested against Rama.
In no country in the Western world would the opposition agree to vote for Electoral Reform where the majority is more favored, going against the will of the people.
In no country in the world would the opposition come out against justice when it is hitting the majority and fear the precedent that is being set and seek to keep alive the spirit of impunity.
Therefore, every time you see them acting in "The Power of Rumors", accused, insulted, and reinvented as enemies, ask yourself what kind of bargain they are making at the expense of Albanians. Bargains, which are made at night, away from the eyes of Albanians, but which burden and make their lives difficult. Because Dritëroi's verses have described what our eyes and minds took years to understand.
