The opposition is trying to create a new fable of its victimization now by the European Union. After four years of "victimization" by the US, since it declared Berisha non grata, it has now begun the battle against the European Union.
So, if for four years in a row the Democrats were told that they were staying in opposition because the US is against us because we are with Europe, now the movie has changed. Now they are being told that we are in opposition because we are with America, but we are against Europe.
After Berisha's trip to Brazil, where he managed to become the 17th vice president of a political association that unites countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America, Berisha now needs a new important "enemy" to justify his failures.
The US cannot continue to declare it an enemy, after the Soros fable fell on it and Donald Trump is in power. It paid up to 10 million euros to lobbyists to save it from Soros, but they have not done anything yet. So, in the hope that the money will not be wasted, it is looking for a new enemy and that is the European Union.
At first, they attacked Ambassador Gonzato, who is the diplomat closest to the opposition in Albania in terms of public stances, but also his critical sense of the government.
They attacked Commissioner Marta Kos after he said the elections were free and fair. And ironically, they sent the complaint to Ambassador Gonzato.
This entire offensive is related to the fact that the European Union has increased public statements about the possibility of Albania's advancement towards the European Union by 2030, if the closure of chapters is completed in 2027.
This new positive relationship between the European Union and Albania, even for geostrategic reasons, is a strong reason for Berisha to announce this conspiracy against the DP. And day by day he is starting to complete the synoptic picture of the EU's "hostile" activity against the DP, attacking its ambassador, then the Commissioner for Enlargement, and so on.
Berisha knows very well that no one in Brussels cares about these positions, but he doesn't need them for Brussels. He needs them for himself, to justify his failures in the opposition to them and to find a new story to justify his impotence.
So four years against the US, to justify the failures until the loss in 2025; then another four years against the EU to justify the loss in 2029.
I don't know what external "enemies" it will find in 2029, but I'm afraid it will also break with those from the Brazilian association, who didn't help it enough. And it will start the battle to take away their seal and logo.
