Following Ervin Salijanj's public denunciations that the process for selecting new DP leaders in the regions is a farce as they are predetermined by the party leadership, one of the candidates, Arsen Vasili, has stated that he was disqualified because the leaders did not want him to be part of the race.
Vasili, who was participating in the race for branch no. 13 in Kashar, explained that he did not withdraw from the race of his own free will, but left due to the fear of the DP leaders vetoing his name.
