War in the Middle East/ Israel issues new evacuation order in south Beirut

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have warned several neighborhoods in the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, to evacuate immediately due to possible military action.

IDF spokesman Avichay Adraee stressed that the warning applies to residents of Haret Hreik, Ghobeiry, Lilaki, Hadath, Burj al-Barajneh, Tahwitat al-Ghadir and Chiyah, adding that the Israeli army will not hesitate to strike any person found near Hezbollah members.

“You are putting yourself and your life at risk… evacuate the area immediately,” the IDF statement said.
