"He only cares about sex", Rita Petro in the face of prejudice
"Judgment" from others often deprives us of the desire to do what we feel. Invited to the "Rudina" studio on TV Klan, the well-known writer Rita Petro says that she has felt judged many times for her style and freedom in art.

In her works she writes about the philosophy of life, while mentioning sex as part of it, the author states that this has brought a "boom" of judgments and prejudices from most people.

Rita Petro: For my freedom in art, it was such a big storm that it continues even today from people who want to judge. "What about the one whose mind is on sex," is a thing that my literature has nothing to do with the erotic character, but it has to do with the philosophy of life, and if I write verses about sex, it has to do with sex being an important part of our life as are other important sensations for everything we are talking about. I wrote a whole novel just about "Thanks for the bullying!". Where bullying starts from the family, who criticize our children all the time, it continues with the teachers who only criticize. At every step we take, we are faced with prejudices, prejudging and being prejudiced.

On the other hand, special attention was given to divorce, one of the main "sources" of prejudice in our society. Moderator Rudina Magjistari added that it is absurd that women and girls in our society are judged in 2024 for divorcing their partner.

However, the author Pita Petro had no better way to end her speech by giving an inspiring and optimistic message to face such phenomena which unfortunately are inevitable.

Rudina Magjistari: And I want to mention the divorce because I am sorry that we are in 2024 and we are still being judged.

Rita Petro : The problem is how you have decided to live your life. You will live another's life or you will live your own life. If you decided to make your own life you will have it much easier, that is why I have always said that our freedom begins with the people around us, they are our biggest judges and if we scare these people and overcome them, they others are far away, we don't know them and they don't know us. But you win this kind of battle with all the people even though they don't want to let you be free.
