Today, one of the most prominent figures in Albanian public life, Grida Duma, celebrates her 48th birthday.
Originally known as a politician, Grida displayed a unique profile in Albanian politics for years, where she stood out for her clear articulation, strong positions and ability to defend her beliefs with courage and dignity. For more than a decade, she was among the strongest voices in the opposition, serving as a member of parliament for the Democratic Party and one of the most active female figures in public debates.
In 2022, Duma took a bold turn in her career, stepping away from active politics to dedicate herself to journalism and the media world. Today, she is the face of the show “Top Story” on Top Channel – a program that has gained public attention for its treatment of deep topics that include politics, crime, economics, and social issues.
