The political context
The organization of the Peza Conference was a very mature thought and in accordance with the national interests of the time of all political forces in the country during 1942. The idea of organizing the conference is the initiative of all Albanian patriots without and with parties.

They organized the movement and dialogue among themselves and with the political forces of the country.

The Albanian nationalists wanted to organize all the forces of the country, for the expulsion of the foreign invaders from the country and the establishment of a democratic regime in Albania.

Representatives of all the country's political forces were invited to participate in the Pezska Conference.

DECISIONS

1- The creation of the National Liberation Anti-Fascist Front, which would include anti-fascists regardless of religion, region and idea.

2- The mobilization of the people in the war against the fascist invaders.

3- The establishment of National Liberation Councils throughout the country.

4- The alignment of Albania alongside the Anglo-Soviet-American anti-fascist coalition.

5- The creation of a free, independent and democratic Albania after the war.

As for the issue of the return of King Zog, it was decided that the decision would be taken after the war, by the Albanian people themselves. Regarding the issue of Kosovo, it was concluded that it should be resolved after the war, relying on the right of self-determination.

At the end of the work, the conference elected the General National Liberation Council, with chairman Kamber Qafmolla, secretary Mustafa Gjinish and members Ndoc Çoba, Myslim Peza, Abaz Kupi, Enver Hoxha and Ymer Dishnica. Historian Kadri Dingu says that Kamber Qafmolla was elected chairman in absentia, and that he did not participate in any meeting of the Council. He later withdrew, citing health reasons. / Alfapress.al
