Thus, the deputy of the Democratic Party, Gent Strazimiri, in an interview on the show "A Show" with Adi Krasta on SYRI TV, stated that the opposition and its supporters have been protesting against the current government for more than a decade, while according to him "the people have finally risen up" and are following them!
According to him, the current situation represents a peak moment of civic discontent.
Strazimiri also emphasized that the Democratic Party has a clear role in this situation, underlining that the protests should not be misinterpreted ideologically.
He added that according to him, efforts to relativize the democratic system (meaning, the capture of the system by the Rama-Berisha duo) do not constitute a solution to social problems.
