Get to know the drinks that reduce the risk of premature death

The combination of coffee and green tea gives positive results when it comes to the health of people with type 2 diabetes, say experts from Japan. The proposed combination potentially reduces the risk of mortality and it is necessary to consume this drink at least once a day.
A new study conducted at Kyushu University as well as Hakujiuji Hospital, where researchers looked at how green tea consumption affects people who already have diabetes, yielded positive results. They studied 4,923 respondents, whose average age was 66, and the research lasted about five years.
Researchers found that people who drank more than four cups of green tea a day had a 40 percent lower risk of death after the study was completed. Like green tea and coffee, it has an effect on reducing the risk of developing diabetes. The study was published by the journal "BMJ Open Diabetes Research&Care.
"The combination of green tea and coffee significantly reduced mortality, up to 63 percent," the researchers stated. Those who drank four or more cups of tea, two or more cups of coffee had the best results. Experts recommend that you drink coffee and green tea without adding sugar or milk so that the effect is complete.
