Today is the Night of Qadr, why it is worth as much as a life for Muslim
The night of Qadr is considered the holiest night of the year for Muslims and according to the Islamic religion, fasting on this day is considered as valid as a thousand months. For this reason, the number of people who fast today is much greater than those who fast during the month of Ramadan.

And why is the night of Qadr as valuable as a person's life, i.e. a thousand months?

The night of Qadr marks the descent of the Koran to earth and the beginning of the writing of the holy book. According to clerics, fasting and prayers to God on this day determine the fate and life of a person during a year. It is thought that there are thousands, not only Muslim believers, who fast on the day of Qadr.

With the permission of their Lord on the night of Qadr, it is said that angels and the spirit (Jibril) descend for each matter. That (which God decrees) is peace until the dawn of the morning. Muslims believe that the Qur'an was revealed on the night of Qadr to Muhammad by Allah. The descent began in the cave of Hira in Mecca. The first surah to be revealed was Surah Alaq.

Muslims observe the holy night with piety, recitations and prayers, as the sanctity of the night is believed to be a very good time to answer prayers.

The last ten days of Ramadan are considered a particularly important spiritual time, as any day can be the Night of Power, and so worshipers try to be especially observant during this period.

Some Muslims participate in a spiritual retreat called "itikaf", where they spend all ten days in the mosque reciting the Qur'an and praying.
