Having Berisha's accreditation for the visit to the US in hand,

Three days ago, Tch journalist Muhamet Veliu revealed documents of an invitation from the IDU for Sali Berisha as part of its delegation to participate as the chairman of the DP at the Republican National Convention in Texas (Dallas), which will be held on September 9-10.

But even though Berisha has received an exemption from the State Department to visit the US, despite remaining "Non Grata", it seems that there is a problem in obtaining a visa at the US embassy in Tirana for the purpose of going to the US for a political-official activity.

The journalist, Veliu, confirmed that according to sources in the Foreign Ministry, the head of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazmend Bardhi, has sent a letter to this institution, which is headed by Ferid Hoxha, for an official accreditation of Sali Berisha as part of the IDU delegation. This accreditation seems to facilitate the DP leader to obtain a visa at the American embassy, for a visa and permission for his travel for political activity in the USA.

On the same day that the news, the letter of invitation from the IDU and the request for accreditation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Berisha were revealed, A2 CNN asked Gazmend Bardhi about this situation. His response was that, " I have no comment on this issue ", thus adding even more mystery to the way in which Berisha will conduct his visit to the US.

While the coming week is crucial for the fate of Berisha's visa and visit to the US, Alfapress.al has learned that the Foreign Ministry has not yet granted accreditation to the DP leader. It is also not known whether it has officially responded to Gazmend's letter of request.

Precisely in this hazy situation and when Berisha's visit to the US to participate in the Republican Convention has not yet been officially confirmed, this Sunday, the deputy leader of the DP, Belind Këlliçi, harshly attacked the Foreign Minister, Ferid Hoxha, who De Jure, (Because De Facto Rama has it), has the power to accredit Berisha or not.

Belind Këlliçi, through a reaction on social networks, accuses the chief diplomat of continuing with statements and positions that damage Albania's image and interests in the international arena.

The technician turned militant patronage activist, Ferit Hoxha, doesn't remember! He continues with undiplomatic labels and stances.

Foreign Minister Ferit Hoxha continues to surprise with his positions and especially with the labels and vocabulary he uses. It is learned that in his presentation at the Pogradec meeting, talking about reports and politics on Kosovo, he stated that the politics there is short-sighted!

While regarding the priority of integration, he distinguished EU countries that are not friendly to us, and that could slow down this process, singling out 'enemy' Germany.

The chief diplomat who was presented as a revelation by Rama is not learning from his mistakes.

He caused a scandal months ago when, in a communication with his associates, he described the Albanians of North Macedonia as idiots.
He then created an incident with Italy, where he stated that migrant camps like those in Shëngjin would be closed.

In both of these cases, endless clarifications were needed to correct gross errors.

But it seems that Feriti continues in the same vein, describing Pristina as official with political shortsightedness, and saying that Germany is unfriendly to us.

In the presentation of Pogradec, he has aroused everyone's surprise. From serious sources, it is learned that it has been requested to continue with urgent speed in other presentations, to overcome this moment.

Amidst the many scandals and government affairs, perhaps these gaffes by the chief diplomat seem insignificant.

But Albania does not have the luxury of creating problems with its neighbors or allies due to the delirium, arrogance, or militancy of its Foreign Minister.
