Over 90 days! The protest passed its test. Now the test of power begins

After 90 days of resistance, there is no longer any doubt that the Protest passed the most difficult test, achieving what seemed unthinkable just three months ago.
She survived not only the heat, fatigue, and the month of August, but also the brutal and direct path that the system is following for delegitimization, division, fatigue, and internal conflicts, showing that she is greater than the petty interests of the parasites who seek to hold her hostage.
This resistance also proved that this is not a protest produced by a party or a political structure, because if it were, it would have been extinguished in the first days.
There is no longer any doubt that it represents a direct effort by the entire Albanian society to free itself from the clutches of an establishment that has taken the political system hostage and that a large portion of citizens perceives as deeply corrupt.
After passing this test, in September the majority will no longer face simply a protest, but a deep crisis of political legitimacy. Which means that the center of the debate will no longer be the question of whether the protest will die down or not, but the main question will be whether the government will manage to resolve the crisis?
From this perspective, after 90 days, the government has only three options left.
First: To continue to ignore it, which would be a very serious mistake because it would lead to a fatal collision, because this would be like the Captain of a ship ignoring an iceberg in front of him because he does not believe that three-quarters of it is beneath the iceberg.
Second: Dialogue or negotiation with the aim of having an institutional solution. Here the FIVE POINTS of the protest are the point of measurement of its ability to produce a political solution, which the government is clearly rejecting so far.
Third: Repression and violent suppression. The latter not only does not solve the crisis, but on the contrary only deepens it and risks transforming the crisis from a political crisis into a destabilizing crisis for the country.
This third would be fatal because it would put our constitutional institutions - the Parliament, the President, the Constitutional Court, the Judiciary, or even the State Police - to a difficult test.
Therefore, September could be much more than just another month of protests.
It could be the first serious test of the Albanian political system in the face of a genuine social movement, aiming to end the transition and return Albania to the hands of Albanians.
