Albin Kurti meets with NATO chief, Kosovo Prime Minister clarifies conversation with Mark Rutte: Serbia, with Russia's help, has interfered in our electoral process!

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, hosted today in Pristina the NATO Secretary General, Mark Rutte, in his first visit in this role.

Through a post on the X platform, Kurti reveals details from his discussion with the NATO chief.
Kurti says the meeting focused on the ongoing cooperation between Kosovo and NATO, as well as the joint commitment to regional and European security.
"We appreciate the continued cooperation and reaffirm our commitment to regional and European security. I also emphasized Kosovo's significant democratic progress," Kurti said.
Kurti also spoke about Serbia's interference in the Kosovo elections.
"However, like many European countries, we have been the target of election interference, in our case, by Serbia with Russian assistance, a widespread tool that poses a critical threat to democracy in the current era," Kurti writes.
“Pleased to welcome Mark Rutte to Pristina, his first visit in his current role as head of the Alliance. We value continued cooperation and reaffirm our commitment to regional and European security. I also highlighted Kosovo’s significant democratic progress. However, like many European countries, we have been the target of election interference, in our case by Serbia with Russian assistance, a widespread tool that poses a critical threat to democracy in the current era.”
