A 21-year-old girl from Kosovo has tragically died after a serious accident on the B28 highway, near the city of Reutlingen in Germany.
According to German media reports, the accident occurred on Thursday, when the young woman with the initials YH, traveling in her car from Metzingen to Reutlingen, lost control of the vehicle.
The vehicle skidded off the road and overturned several times, sustaining serious damage. Due to the accident, the B28 highway was completely closed for several hours, while a rescue helicopter was also sent to the scene.
Despite the doctors' efforts and intensive care, the young woman could not cope with her injuries.
She died on Saturday, two days after the accident. German authorities officially confirmed her death yesterday.
Meanwhile, the police have launched investigations to uncover the causes of the tragic accident.
The event has shocked the Albanian community in Germany, while her family and relatives are experiencing difficult moments after her untimely loss.
