A grandfather in Rethymno, Greece, raped his granddaughter for nine years in a row.
Today, the minor is 14 years old, while her nightmare with her grandfather started at the age of 5.
The case became known to the police a week ago, when the 14-year-old girl could not stand the hell she was living in, trying to end her life. Fortunately, the teenager survived.
Protothema.gr writes that the minor had cut the veins. It was the family members who took the minor directly to the hospital. There, the minor confessed to nine years of rape by her grandfather of Indian origin. As she described, her 68-year-old maternal grandfather forced her to watch porn movies since she was 4 years old, while a year later he began sexually abusing her.
For the first time he raped her in the toilet at his house! The systematic rape of the minor was stopped in 2020, when the then 12-year-old minor sought the help of her brother who was at home.
He saved her from another rape. But apparently her brother has not spoken out since then, keeping his sister's rape a secret.
The Public Prosecutor of Rethymno and the investigator of Rethymno issued a week ago an arrest warrant against the 68-year-old Indian man for rape, attempted rape and ill-treatment of a minor. On Monday evening he was arrested in the area of Regional Unity in Rethymno.
