5 years of SPAK/ Fitim Zekthi: It has been proved that there are no untouchable

In the show "Open" on News24, it was discussed about SPAK, an institution created 5 years ago, which has been evaluated by international partners. The ceremony held today was attended by the US Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Western Balkans, Alexander Kasanof, as well as diplomats from EU countries and Great Britain.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Edi Rama was not present at the ceremony, even though the latter has taken the credit for the establishment of this institution in many cases, stressing that without the will of the socialists, the establishment of this institution would not have been possible.

Analyst Fitim Zekthi said that it has already been proven that there are no more untouchable people in Albania.

" Touching people who are part of international crime, touching people who send 600 kg of cocaine to the Port of Durrës with profits of millions of euros, touching former Prime Ministers and former Presidents, ministers or former ministers, shows that the message has been given that there are no more people who are not investigated. It is the prosecution that is touching for the first time what were untouchable" , said Zekthi.

He said that justice is an ideal, but it cannot be claimed that it will become the ideal. "It is important that the prisons are not filled with people who steal cows or build an avlli", said Zekthi.
